You can relax by the fireplace, enjoying a glass of champagne or coffee in one of the lounges provided for your well-being. The restaurant menu includes lobster with citrus, asparagus, rosemary and hazelnut vinaigrette; venison pâté en croûte with foie gras, cranberries, baby greens and onion jam; Perigord duck breast with a garnish of autumn vegetables; and fillet of royal peach sea bream with lemon juice and beef braise served with a fine celery purée. For dessert, choose the fine apple tart with its quenelle of Armagnac ice cream and prunes, or the rice pudding served with a pear from Arlette's orchard and salted butter caramel sauce. Delicious!

"It's a lovely address in Essonne that I know from my regular business lunches, and it's well worth the trip. I wanted to show it to my wife and daughters, and they were pleasantly surprised. It's a cosy setting, with the added bonus of being able to have an aperitif in the lounge and then sit down to dinner, which is quite unusual. The menu is concise, a testament to the restaurant's "au fil de l'eau" approach to cooking, with seasonal produce and impeccable presentation and cooking. The quality/price ratio is more than fair, and the service is discreet yet attentive. The wines on offer are sufficiently varied for moderate prices.
